![]() ![]() May be this book was distressing and heart-rending in the beginning but it had a very beautiful and positive ending. But that was what the lead character was going through and the author has conveyed it in her writing very well. The initial phase of the book was quite depressing. ![]() ![]() The plot had a good flow but it was getting slow in some places. Overall the story was a great one, but here in this book I found too many repetitions of the incidents from her past which I had already read in the first book. I would give this book a rating of 4.5/5. Will she be in the same ordeal life or will she break through her thoughts and give a come back is the story all about. Her mood swings, her attempts to be treated as a normal person and her evocative past steered her emotional balance. It was not that easy to live a normal life after recovering from a mental health problem. But still something deep down was haunting her. Everything seemed to go fine, she found herself coming back to normalcy. She had moved to Bombay and opted to her favorite course ‘Creative Writing’. Ankita, the protagonist of this sequel has fought bipolar disorder, have survived two suicide attempts and then she started to lead a normal life without any medications. ‘Wake Up Life is Calling’ is a sequel to the book ‘Life is what you make it’. ![]()
